Gooday Can you please advise, the mentioned vehicle visited the KIA dealership in Windhoek Namibia on multiple occasions for repairs to be carried out for the last 30000 kilometres without any service done or detected by workshop mechanics or service Advisors , currently the vehicle has an engine failure due to no service done as per the mechanical report provided by the mentioned dealer .Is there any possibility that KIA can assist with the repairs or provide us with a valid reason why the services was not detected ? See below is the work done on the truck without any service detected . 134116 KMs intake was repaired /replace 137897 KMs brakes was replaced 138483 KMs battery was replaced and ignition switch 145772 KMs cylinder head and radiator was replaced 150934 KMs clutch master cylinder was replaced 156297 KMS clutch kit was replaced .

Info on kia sportage diesel

Wait for feedback on ,if Kia will bring the beautifull 2023 Kia Sportage in a diesel to South Africa. It is all ready available in diesel in Australia. Kind Regards. Gerhard Visser

Service agreement

I bought a Kia Picanto with a 5 yr service plan. First service was done and then when the second service was due Kia said there was a problem with the service contract. Asked the manager to retrieve a copy of the purchase agreement. He confirmed that the service contract is part of the sales contract but that Kis has not recorded the information correctly. The car was not serviced and I have not heard anything back from Kia

Matrix device is been cancelled by Kia

To whom it may concern I bought my KIA SELTOS 1.4T DCT GT-LINE from Kia Wonderwatersin Pretoria on the 4 May 2021, they told me that there is a Matrix Device in the vehicle. Now I received email from Mix Telematics that informed me of "CONFIRMATION OF IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION", so I contact Matrix and the told me I must contact my dealer where I purchase the vehicle from and Kia must contact Matrix to activate the device again. I want to know who is the person from Kia that cancelled it? I want to know what is the reason for the cancellation? Why did the cancelled it without the owners knowledge? I have phoned Kia Wonderwaters today the 18 February 2022 at 8h00 this morning to sort the problem out , but until now I am still waiting for a answer from them, and in the mean time the device is not connected. My car engine light is beaping and a message came up check exhaust system on my Kia Sportage 2021 bought in August

I bought a Kia Sportage in August 2021 and was very happy about the way the car performs...everything was fine. Until 23 December 2021 I was in Durban...the car jerked and refused to go started jerking continuously no power when accelerating. I phoned Service Manager in Pmb.He said phone Kia assist or go to nearest Kia.This was in Pinetown as they were still open.We went there and the PMB service Manager had already contacted them They checked the car and the turbo boost pipe popped off.They clamped it and said all was fine.On 25th December 2021 I was leaving back to PMB from Durban.Same happened car jerked twice and power lacked but drove back slowly. The car is worse now.message came up saying check exhaust system.the mileage on my Sportage is only 7097. I am very disappointed at how a brand new car can do this and especially since it went to Pinetown t ok be checked and they said it was sorted.i am taking it to service centre tomorrw in PMB to sort out.hop ok my this will all not recur...failing which ki as an must give me a new car.this could be as manufacturing fault on the car.I don't want this problem again over and be over.

Kia Seltos GT line went for first service. Had problems with fuel level not being replaced correctly & car broke down. Have tried countless times to reach out to the service manager in Kia Boksburg where the car was serviced & had no response.

I am being ripped off

Good morning, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing as a loyal customer who has been dissatisfied and whom feel robbed by Kia South Africa. I bought the vehicle mentioned in the subject line in November 2019 and I am constantly repairing and replacing the vehicle parts ever since. In September 2020 I had to bring the car back to the service department of the Durban South Kia office due to a broken clutch pedal spring. I enquired about the resulting damage that the broken part had caused on the vehicle and I was told there was no effect and that the pedal spring may have just broken due to the type of material it is made up of. In October 2020 I got stranded due to gears not engaging so I had to replace the whole clutch for about R12 000 at Kia Durban central. When I enquired about what would cause this damage within less than a year of buying this vehicle, I was told it was my driving and the previously broken pedal spring had nothing to do with it. For the first time dealing with Kia I was dissatisfied by even the service that I got from that branch. In the following year I had to change the battery which was also giving me a problem from 2020. In September 2021 the pedal spring broke again. In November 2021 my clutch has burnt out and I have to pay another Approx. R12000 to replace it. When I bought this vehicle I thought I was buying a new car or did Kia sell me a defect of a vehicle? When my vehicle goes well for this repair it takes weeks to almost months. Currently I'm without a mode of transport and I have a business trip coming up. My vehicle will only be ready around Christmas. This is a huge in inconvenience on my part and I have had many people interested in buying this vehicle but seems it is just a poorly manufactured car that you are making money off of your customers with. I am contesting the payment of this repair till you clearly explain to me why does this pedal spring constantly breaks and immediately I have to change the clutch.

Poor Service

Just got a second hand kia Rio hatchback. After driving it twice. The battery just started failing. Either they stole the original battery and gave me a fake battery. I'm taking it back to them tomorrow. Either they give me a new battery or they can keep their car. I've been understanding with their poor service. How can you tell a client to go to the manager and ask for a courtesy car. Poor poor service. Can't be treated like crap. Especially when this is my first car. Faheem is the urgent who was assisting with getting this car but I'm not impressed at all. They can refund my deposit and keep their car. I will go somewhere else.

I have KIA sportage 2020 model and the petrol gauge do not work

I have taken the vehicle for the two services since then the petrol gauge and readings do not work.I cannot understand that a brand-new vehicle can have a fault like this, petrol is extremely expensive, and any person must have a well functioned petrol gauge .can you please assist .the dealer at stikland informed me that I must switch off the vehicle and wait a while but what if I am in a hurry.It worked for a while, but now it is not working anymore.I am very disappointed.

Bought a new car and was given the incorrect vehicle with the incorrect VIN

I bought a brand new KIA Pagas, took delivery on a Friday afternoon. had my insurance all organized according to the details provided by KIA. I drove around the weekend with family and friends in the car. I went to work on the Monday. Tuesday i received a call from the sales person, to tell me that there had been a mix up and i was driving the incorrect car. They gave me the car with a different VIN number and that the car i was driving was not sold, was not insured...... I was asked to bring the car in for them to sort out new paperwork with the correct VIN, etc. I was given a car to use in the mean time. The Wednesday i contacted the sales person to ask about the new paperwork and was told to come collect the vehicle. Kia had swapped the car with the correct VIN, so i basically received a new car. The car was just parked outside, not washed, and the KMS were changed to the KMS i had done in the other Pegas? I only received a verbal apology from the sales person and dealer principal, which is shocking in the least. I emailed KIA SA to inform them of the situation and received 0 feedback. Pathetic. I have been a KIA customer since the new RIO was launched in 2008 (I think) and have owned 2 of them since. Never have I experienced such a stuff up when buying a new car and the lack of any kind of feedback.

User's recommendation: check your contract details match the vehicle given to you, before leaving the dealership. The excitement of buying a new car could have dire consequences if you do not.

Overall experience with the Kia roadside assistance was good Helpful in organizing the tow truck & advising as to what the procedure is when towed to nearest Kia dealership.

No Response

As a follow-up note to my original complaint - I have had no response from Kia South Africa. This is of no surprise to me as I have never had a response from them in previous requests I have made to them. In the meantime, I sorted my problem out myself, with no assistance from Kia South Africa. Regards
